Every two years, our youth group runs a mission trip to Central America. Last year our team went to El Salvador over March break. We partnered with a church in the city of Santa Ana to share sports, arts and crafts, and the Gospel with kids in the local schools! Another important part of this trip was building relationships with the church community.
The church we worked with is called Más Que Vencedores (or MQV) which means more than conquerors (Romans 8:31-39). The lead pastor, Melvin, his family, and the ministry team hosted us with generosity and kindness. We were so lucky to meet the people at MQV and work closely with them for the 10 days that we were there. We hope that this will be a long partnership between our two churches!
